First session.

These are the activities we did to improve family communication:

Respect Bingo.

This is a game whose purpose is to strengthen the respect among members of the families.

The participants or members of the family will have on their hands a little board with sixteen squares which have written phrases or actions related to Respect, each one of them has a number above where they will have to complete a horizontal line with some yellow pieces that we will hand out them.

A person who will not participate, has to read some actions or situations where the respect is involved, and the participant who has the situation which the reader says, put a yellow piece on the respective square and say an example where or when should take into account this value. 

The member of the family who completes the horizontal line on the little board will win the game.

Ice cream of gratitude.

This game is based on encouraging the gratitude in members of the family.

Sometimes we do not realize that a simple "thanks" can change everything.

The idea of this game is to complete a delicious ice cream with some flavors which are represented by some cut out pieces of paper with a shape of little balls of ice cream. On these ones, all the members of the family will have to write something for what they say thanks.

It can be whatever. Then, when all of them have written their words of gratitude, they will have to stick one by one the respective flavor on the wall above the ice cream cone and share what they wrote.

And in this way, complete the "ice cream of gratitude"

This is a game in which communication and confidence will play an important roll.

Younger members' eyes will be tied up and they will be led by older members trough the path of drawbacks which are represented by some glasses on the ground or on the floor. These glasses mean all the likely bad situations the younger members will go trough over their lives. 

So, the communication with the older members will be virally important due to they have enough experience to say what to do and where to step or what not to do and where not to step.

The idea is not to knock down the little glasses and pass the path of drawbacks.
