Importance of family values.

It is very important to educate in family values if we want our children to be socially competent. In this way, they must be respectful, responsible, supportive, honest and empathetic.

On the other hand, we all always like to have an honest, supportive, respectful, responsible and 

empathetic person by our side, but sometimes we are very selfish and only concentrate on being with 

people like that, and we don't look at being people like that , and the correct thing would be that just as 

we receive good treatment that a person gives us, we also give equal or better treatment back.

Additionally, make it clear that educating a child is not just taking him to school and that’s all. Also 

parents, must teach them that life is what people expect from us and what we can expect from people.

How can parents educate in family values? First parents have to understand the way children act. Well, they are a simply reflection of what adults 

do. Hence the phrase; "Education is all we do when we are not educating." That phrase refers to the fact that a father can talk to his son about good manners, but if the father does not use good manners in the house. The child will then have bad manners because the father has them.

And finally. The dialogue. Children should not be taught values as if they were orders to follow to the 

letter. Parents should explain the reasons for each act, that is, explain why we treat others well and why 

we are good people. Because if they do not know that, they will not find sense to behave as their 

parents say.
